Why you should rent a boat in Lezzeno

STRATEGIC LOCATION

Lezzeno is located north-west of Triangolo Lariano, just in front of the most valued area of Lake Como, where several stately villas have been built over the centuries. The main touristic attractions are located very close to our shipyard: Isola Comacina, Villa La Cassinella, Villa Balbianello.

Our shipyard is at the end of the residential zone and at the beginning of a wild area (Grosgalla) where, during some months of the year, you can see the nests of gray herons even from the boat.

Bellagio is just 7 minutes by boat from us and the gasoline station of Cadenabbia is about 13 minutes.

LOCATION

Our shipyard comes from the restoration of an old building producing lime, the first to be built in reinforced concrete throughout the Lake Como.

The five floors, the original chimney stack and the suspension bridge make this building unique and fascinating: it is considered part of the goods of industrial archaeology.

On the higher floors there are still the original ovens where rock coming from the pit was cooked and then carried by lake to its destination.
